I just realized you want to change the default "speaker" but not "microphone", if so, you can simply change it on client via Control Panel -> Sound -> Playback, then change the default speaker, log off and relaunch the view session.
It is similar to set on Linux and Mac client.
You are using a Windows 2012 RDSH session, not VDI session, right? We don't support USB on Widnows 2012 R2 connecting from Zero client yet.

it's just when you do network port binding on your software iscsi adapter using that vmkernel adapter. that's when you will see a tick mark on it.

So If am using vSphere update manger 5.5, is it possible to upgrade the host from ESX 4.1 to ESXi 5.1 U3 ?
As mentioned in my other thread, hot cloning results in NTFS file system corruption and a disk check on first boot of the migrated server that always has to delete a bad attribute record in the $J. So it is not hot cloning NTFS correctly no matter what I do.
Since it appears I cannot do WinPE conversion, I am going to have to do the next step down the rung for offline cold cloning.
File Server: Dell PowerEdge 2900
- Two RAID-5, one OS boot 73g x2, one data drive 300g x4
- Running Server 2008 R2 SP1
Install VMWare Tools on Server 2008, to preinstall VM drivers.
Insert another spare SAS hard drive
- in controller, configure as RAID-0
- in controller, set this as boot drive
Install basic Windows 7 DVD on this drive
Install Standalone Converter on Windows 7
Clone to VMWare ESXi 5.5
In cloned machine
- Delete the Windows 7 VMDK
- Configure migrated VM settings manually
Boot from the original Server 2008 R2 disk, which has not been twiddled by Converter but copied raw to the VMDK.

Yes, I was completely powering of the VM's compute host, causing a VM offline situation.
But the HA scenario below is common to any cluster having a shared storage(other than vsan), ie VM will get restated on an available host in the cluster.
So what does this capability does additionally?
What does the Host failure mentioned in the storage policy means, Is it a disk failure or just a network partition?
Will a manual shutdown come under this?

I have got a lab setup for 4 servers (each server has 3 virtual disks (1 - Flash & 2 - data disks) in a cluster, where VSAN is made as Automatic. However, when i try to look at Vsan Summary, i see only 3 hosts are eligible and total hosts are 4.
Also, I have tried to mark one of the available drives (2GB) as flash drive and tried to check, still its not showing the drive in the Vsan....
Appreciate any quick help....
Tell us, how did you duplicate the 64 bit guest?
Make sure that the old and new guests do not have same MAC addresses.

This looks like your disk (some Seagate 2TB ST2000DM001) is defective. Would try cheking this with a vendor tool (e.g. SeaTools) first.
What hardware are you on (mainboard/server type/model, storage controller [looks like onboard SATA?])
Is the (onboard) storage set to AHCI in BIOS and is the BIOS on latest version?
Yep if you selected quick deploy and the blueprint has been modified after all the Deployment profiles have been created you will get this error.
Will need to go into the application and step through either a new deployment profile or go through and existing one again so it has all the changes made in the blueprint.

Hopefully you did not enable something else this way. From your settings above it might be even better/working to put the "VLAN Range Settable: true" to false (disabled) and of course the vn2vm mode back to disabled.

Looks to me like a bug in the driver for that Broadcom device...
